Beautiful antique Victorian mahogany duchess dressing table, dating from 1880’s to 1890’s.
Crafted from elegant quality mahogany, it has a shaped mirror set within a frame. Stunning carved and scrolled supports lead to a pair of two small drawers. It has a moulded edge to the shaped dressing table top with one central drawer. All of the drawers are wooden lined with original turned knob handles. It is raised on large pillar legs with turned detail and a carved foot. This is joined by a shaped platform base, which has an attractive design to fit a chair perfectly with stylish straight back legs with further moulding detail. The top separates for ease of transporting.
It is a lovely mahogany colour, a beautiful patination that completes all the period's charm and character.
It comes in antique condition with minor surface scratches and a patina.
