Originally salvaged from a vintage West Yorkshire police station and law court, its imposing structure and industrial charm tell a story of decades past. Robust institutional construction is characteristic of vintage police stations, courthouse waiting areas, and traditional holding cells. Built with a heavy, solid oak frame and finished with a deep oxblood red in rexine used in race cars at the time, this piece provides an unmistakable statement look for your home.

Crafted with an exceptionally sturdy solid timber frame, it features angular block arms, a supportive split-back profile, and a central reinforcing leg. The seat and backrest are upholstered in an iconic, deep oxblood red material secured by classic industrial studding.

Showing an authentic, honest patina with wear consistent with its age and public service, this bench is structural, stable, and ready to serve.

Solid oak structure with prominent central support legs made to withstand heavy daily public use.

Accentuated by traditional stud work along the lower and upper upholstery borders.

Vintage condition. Frame is solid. Surface marks of the seat bottom with cigarette burn with add to the authenticity of the piece, abrasions, and aging to the upholstery as shown and old pinning of the underneath of the back rest , adding to its historical charm.
