Beautiful pair of decorative tiles.
This pair of pictures is titled "Madame Peacock" by the British artist Gilbert Rumbold.
It is a lovely Art Deco-style illustration from 1927 depicting a lady in an elaborate gown with a peacock-feather skirt and a matching fan.
Gilbert Rumbold was a British artist primarily known for his fashion illustrations, decorative maps, and especially for his illustrations in The Savoy Cocktail Book.
The work is characteristic of the Art Deco period, dated to 1927.
Rumbold tragically lost an arm in a train accident and was known to frequent pubs, where he often sketched local scenes to earn money.
Soft support to use as a decoration piece that can be fixed to the wall.
