This stunning Art Deco mirror from Vogue's December 1925 magazine cover showcases a glamorous flapper dancer in an elegant maroon and gold dress, with a sophisticated gentleman in the background, against a checkered dance floor with the bold Vogue branding.
The illustrator behind this masterpiece is Eduardo García Benito, a renowned Spanish painter and fashion illustrator known for his Vogue covers in the 1920s and 1930s. Benito trained under Daniel Vierge after studying at the Mignon studio before moving to Paris in 1912, where he painted Vogue covers for 15 years.
This vintage mirror comes in a mid-coloured wooden frame, with a few signs of authentic patina that add to its charm.
