This vintage Beefeater London Gin Mirror is a wine and spirits advertising sign that can be used as wall art or as a collectable. It features a vibrant picture of a London guard and gold emblem, with the branding in a vivid, stylish, and eye-catching design, along with an intricate description of the London skyline. The mirror comes in a great dark wooden frame and is a superb statement piece that can enhance the décor of any home or business. It is in excellent vintage condition with a few minor signs of authentic patina.
Beefeater's history can be traced back to 1862 when James Burrough, born in 1835, purchased the Chelsea distillery from Rectifier & Compounder John Taylor for £400. He started producing his unique style of gin by 1863. Initially, the distillery continued producing the liqueurs it had been making under the previous owners. This helped to strengthen its reputation and expand its customer base.
